Serving the Northside Community with

we are a grassroots organization providing essentials to the Northside Minneapolis community.

In light of the murder of George Floyd and the events that followed, our community became a desert for essential resources.  Seeing the community in need, a team led by Ashli Henderson responded by creating Northside Emergency Resource Pop-Up, (NERP)  to supply the Northside community with free groceries, household items and medical supplies.

Some of the main grocery stores in North Minneapolis closed after the murder of George Floyd. This left North Market and Aldi to serve the entire Northside of Minneapolis. NERP supplies food, household and hygiene products, and medical supplies to those in need.

Nerp served over 7000 in the first three weeks alone.

With a network of support, we will continue to serve.

The Northside Emergency Resource Pop-Up and our amazing volunteers will continue to fill this gap to serve the community. Learn how you can get involved by donating your time, money, or resources here.

In solidarity,
